As Canada’s largest direct online grocer, Grocery Gateway provided home delivery to approximately 125,000 customers in the Greater Toronto area, which covered a territory of approximately 3,200 square kilometres. Grocery Gateway’s management staff was concerned that the company had been met only 67 per cent of its target of making four deliveries per hour.
