The case describes how HTC, a pioneer of mobile computing from Taiwan, evolved from a local subcontractor of PDA (personal data assistant) to a global contender of smartphone. In July 2004, Bombardier Aerospace announced its intention to develop a new family of aircraft called CSeries.
